Inside a traditional Sami lavvu, you will be welcomed by a real Sami host dressed in a traditional gákti (Sami clothing). Gather around the fire with freshly brewed campfire coffee and warm drinks while listening to fascinating stories about Sami culture, history, and traditions.
Meet the Reindeer Up Close:
Just outside the lavvu, our friendly reindeer are waiting for you. Step inside the enclosure, feed them, take photos, and enjoy a magical encounter with one of the Arctic’s most iconic animals.
Taste the Sami National Dish:
After visiting the reindeer, you will be invited into the hotel restaurant to enjoy a traditional lunch – the Sami national dish Bidos – served with genuine Northern Norwegian hospitality.
Visit the Huskies:
The adventure continues with a visit to a local husky farm. Meet both huskies and puppies, pet them, and learn more about the life of sled dogs in the Arctic.
